Please fill out the information form below of your interest in being in the "battle of the bands" competition at the Morenci Town & Country Festival on Friday June 24th, 2011, starting at 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. with winners announced following the competition.  We are planning two battles this year. One for the newer aged progressive/industrial/metal type style of music and the second being a classic rock/country type style music.  The  competitions will be $50 (fifty dollars) non-refundable entry fee required for each band and a $50 (fifty dollars) refundable deposit, that will be given back to the each band after they have fulfilled their playing obligations agreement.   The 2 (two) winners, will each split 50% of the entry fee total collected.   Each winning band will also win the honor to play on Saturday on stage at different time slots.    Both the 2 (two) winners of the "Battle of the Bands"  will be determined from  the audience voting with tickets bought at $1 a vote or $5 for 6 tickets and $10 for 15 tickets that will be located near the bands voting containers in the arena.    Every band is encouraged to bring as many of their fans as possible, since the winners will be determined from the popular paid vote.    This form will be used for information purposes only and is not considered a contract agreement between you and the Town & Country Festival "Battle of the Bands" staff.  By filling out this form we will keep you up on any information about the battle of the bands via e-mail and or phone contact.   At least one member of each band will meet with a "Battle of the Bands" representative to discuss details, collect entry fee and sign a contract agreement.  All bands are encouraged to seek sponsorship to cover their $100 entry fee, but is not required.  Sponsors will be recognized in media spots as well as when the band is introduced during the battle.  Also each sponsor will be aloud to place their banner behind their band on the fence with the bands banner (banner size maximum 6 ft. width X 3 ft. height).
