the Chamber does it's yearly fundraiser. The reverse raffle is held
in Montpelier, Ohio at the Ramada Inn. The tickets are $100 each and
there will be only 300 tickets in the raffle. For your donation you
will receive a full buffet meal during the raffle, an open bar
during the event and a chance to win over $10,000 in prizes as well
as a lot of fun.
Cruise nights start the last Thursday of May and
are the last Thursday of each month through September. The event is
in the downtown business district. Entry fee is food donations that
go to our local food pantry. D.J., bands and lots of local
business's gifts given to participates. Come see lots of unique cars
Movie In The Park
The Movie is the
Park has become an annual summer time event. The big screen is
brought to Wakefield Park, where families gather with blankets and
chairs for a family friendly movie. Concessions are available
from local businesses.
On the third
Saturday of July, Morenci’s streets become jammed with shoppers
looking for bargains at the enormous city-wide garage sale. About
100 residents participate each year for this greatly-anticipated event. The sale is
advertised in a dozen newspapers in the region and shoppers flock
from all over.

LABOR DAY BRIDGE WALK

Labor Day Bridge

Chamber organizes a four-person scramble at De-Mor Hills Golf
Course. The event serves as a fund-raiser for the Chamber and also
serves as a great day for participants.

teams plays 18 holes of golf before enjoying a steak dinner. Cash
prizes are given in several categories and big hole-in-one prizes
are offered on several holes.
Event is either activities in Wakefield Park or a downtown Trunk or
Treat event with local businesses. Either way lots of candy is

festival committee organizes a lighted holiday parade in early
December, and afterward participants gather at Wakefield Park to
warm up with hot chocolate and coffee, and fill up on a huge variety
